We made our Thankful Tree last night and it was so fun. I gave a brief run-down about Thanksgiving and then asked the girls what they were thankful for. Some of their answers made me laugh, so made me think "man, my kids are getting so big", and others made me teary-eyed.
My favorite one that Avery came up with was gluten free foods. I think it's so cute she appreciates that.
Izy made me laugh because the first 7 leaves she filled out had to do with her friends. She sure loves her little buddies.
We really do have so much to be thankful for this season.

It makes me teary-eyed too...the simple things in life. Our kids remind us of that daily.
I do have to tell you, I made your Pumpkin Choc chip whoopies and MAN OH MAN they were good! and rich and creamy and so divine. (and sinful!) Thank you for such a great recipe...!
